However, a Lagos High Court has restricted protesters in Lagos to specific locations, and the police have warned against unplanned open processions.

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered senior officers to protect protesters and advised organizers to engage with state police commissioners to coordinate the protests.

The police have also declared all prisons "red zones" and warned against attempted violations.

Organizers have listed convergence points, including Eagle Square in Abuja, Alausa Park in Lagos, and Opposite Wema Bank in Benin City.

However, the Lagos High Court has restricted protests in Lagos to the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota and Peace Park in the Ketu area.

Stakeholders, including Catholic Bishops and the Arewa Consultative Forum, have called for restraint and caution, urging the government to address the issues driving the protests.

The Presidency has condemned the organizers, saying there is no bad government in Nigeria, but a thinking one.
