A Nigerian barrister has volunteered to defend VeryDarkMan, a social commentator, against Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin's N1 billion lawsuit.

The barrister, who wishes to remain anonymous, has called on other civil defense lawyers to join forces and offer their services pro bono to support VeryDarkMan.

"Pastor Jeremiah must disclose the ingredients of his miracle products that supposedly cure sufferings, yet poverty and suffering persist in the land," the barrister said. "It's time to hold him accountable for his claims."

The barrister's offer comes after VeryDarkMan publicly criticized Prophet Fufeyin's sale of unregistered miracle products, leading to the lawsuit.

"I'm willing to defend VeryDarkMan's right to free speech and expression," the barrister added. "We must protect citizens from frivolous lawsuits meant to intimidate and silence them."

The barrister's call to action has sparked a wave of support from other lawyers and civil rights activists.

"We stand with VeryDarkMan and will offer our services to ensure his voice is not silenced," said another lawyer.
