Reports online have it that popular Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley, and socialite Sam Larry have been granted bail after spending weeks in detention over their alleged involvement in the death of singer Mohbad. According to sources, the duo are required to provide three sureties and a sum of 20 million naira as part of their bail conditions.

They have also been ordered to turn in their foreign passports and appear at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on a weekly basis.

Their alleged involvement in Mohbad's death is still under investigation.The magistrate in charge of the case also gave a stern warning, stating that any attempt to contact her would be taken note of and could be revealed in open court. It will be recalled that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were arrested upon their return to the country over their alleged involvement in the death of late singer Mohbad.

A video of Sam Larry allegedly assaulting Mohbad while he was on set had further fueled speculation about his involvement in the death. Their alleged involvement in Mohbad's death is still under investigation.
