Nigerian wigmaker Helen Williams has recently gotten an approval from Guinness World Records for her application to create the Longest Handmade Wig in the World and she has announced the official date for her record-breaking attempt.

Hair Rita 9ja’s CEO shared a screenshot of the email from GWR, confirming the approval of her application for the record.

Williams has expressed her excitement about taking on the challenge of creating the Longest Handmade Wig in the World.

Now, she has also disclosed the official date for the record-breaking event.

The attempt is scheduled to take place on Friday, July 7, at 767 Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, beside Area 1 Estate Gate.

Sharing the post, she wrote “I was approved by Guinness World Records Few Weeks Ago for ‘Longest Wig In The World Attempt’. Initially, I didn’t want to announce it yet. I hope you all will support me.”

“As a Wigmaker, Wig Instructor and Educator, I will be taking up this challenge of making “The Longest Handmade Wig In the World”.

“This time I am not just making a wig but the Longest Handmade Wig In The World. According to Silvia Pencak ” Victories Aren’t Born On The Field, You Create them during Practice, Day In and Day Out”. I am still counting on all your support, God bless you all.”
