Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has called out her colleague Yul Edochie for making unsubstantiated claims about the late Junior Pope betraying him.

Yul had previously stated that Junior Pope's betrayal was the reason for his absence from the funeral.

Sarah Martins questioned Yul's motives, suggesting that he was using Junior Pope's death to gain attention and make money on Facebook.

She referred to him as "Hungry Odiegwu" and expressed that he should be ashamed of himself. She also implied that his wife, Judy Austin, may have encouraged him to make the claims. Sarah further asked who Yul expects to defend Junior Pope now that he has passed away.

In her words, "Yul Edochie, is this how you want to use the late Junior Pope's name to trend and make money on Facebook? You should be ashamed of your broke self! Hungry Odiegwu! I'm 100% sure Judy pushed you to type that nonsense. So who will come to defend him now that he's gone? Try to get a conscience!"
