Supermodel Oluchi Onweagba has corrected Temi Otedola's claim of being the first ambassador for L’Oréal Paris from Nigeria and Africa.

Following Temi Otedola's announcement as the brand's first African ambassador, Oluchi took to Instagram to clarify the record. She provided evidence showing that she was the first Nigerian to serve as an ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.

Oluchi posted an old photo of herself posing for the brand and wrote: “LEGITIMATE TBT FIRST NIGERIAN REMAINS FIRST FOREVER. NOT A LOUD SPEAKER BUT COUNT ON ME TO SHOW YOU ALL RECEIPTS.”

This post directly responded to Temi Otedola's recent statement on social media, where she expressed excitement about her new role, saying: "I am the first-ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis. I’m truly honored to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret for the last 6 months!!”
