Pelumi Nubi announced her plan to embark on a road trip from London to Lagos, commencing her journey on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She traversed through 17 countries, starting from England and passing through France, Spain, Morocco, and the vast West Sahara Desert, all by road.

Her route then took her through Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, and Benin before finally arriving in Lagos.

Throughout her journey, Pelumi encountered various experiences, both positive and negative, which she documented on social media. She faced challenges with immigration officers in several African countries, was denied entry to Sierra Leone at the border, and experienced a car accident in Ivory Coast.

Despite these setbacks, Pelumi persisted, overcoming challenges and arriving triumphantly at the University of Lagos on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
