In a terrifying incident, a pilot flying from Miami to Chile passed away mid-flight, leaving 271 passengers aboard in a state of panic.

The pilot, whose identity has not been released, was reportedly piloting a flight from Miami to Chile when he suddenly fell ill.

He was taken to the hospital in Chile upon landing, but tragically, he passed away shortly after. The flight's co-pilot took over and safely landed the plane.
