The Anambra State Police Command has apprehended two suspected armed robbers and serial rapists, Chukwuma Diji and Micheal Edochie, in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area.

The suspects allegedly gang-raped a married woman and two other ladies during their operations in the community. Police recovered two locally made double barrel guns, one locally made single barrel gun, six live cartridges, and a Q-link motorcycle from the suspects.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Itam, has ordered the case to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation, and the suspects will be arraigned in court after the investigation is complete.
