In a shocking display of brutality and extortion, a team of policemen led by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Gwarinpa in Abuja, Babale Hamza Galadima, stormed Hotel VIMA in the 1st Avenue area of Gwarinpa, leaving a trail of destruction and terror in their wake.

According to eyewitnesses and obtained videos, the incident occurred on Sunday night at approximately 11:30 pm, as the policemen, in a Gestapo-style invasion, arrested all staff and guests, destroying doors, room furniture, and other properties in the process.

The hotel owner, who prefers to remain anonymous, has cried out for justice, alleging that the policemen demanded a staggering N500,000 as bail for each individual, totaling a hefty sum for the innocent victims.

The videos and CCTV footage obtained by reporters show the extent of the destruction, with doors and furniture smashed and broken, and guests and staff being manhandled and dragged away by the policemen.

This brazen act of police brutality and extortion has sparked outrage and calls for accountability, with many demanding the immediate suspension and investigation of DPO Babale Hamza Galadima and his team.

As the hotel owner and victims seek justice, this incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for police reform and the importance of holding law enforcement officials accountable for their actions.
