The Governor Of Kwara State AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is ready to put a smile on the face of teachers in Kwara state, as he approves the implementation of promotion arrears for teachers and staff of the State Universal Basic Education Board.
This was officially disclosed by the SUBEB chairman, Prof. Raheem Adaramaja, at the inauguration operational vehicles, motorcycles and instructional materials for basic schools.
According to Raheem, he said “Conduct of years 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 promotion examination and oral interview has been approved by His Excellency to hold between August 2nd and 5th, 2021.
“Outstanding salary arrears of staff are also not left out as the process is at its peak.
“The administration had unlocked the goldmine of opportunities to revitalise basic education in the state with the renewed relationship with the Universal Basic Education Commission after seven years of official blacklist of Kwara.”
Public basic school teachers in Kwara State were last promoted in 2017.
