President Bola Tinubu has named Zacch Adedeji as Acting Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) following the appointment of Muhammad Nami to three months of pre-retirement leave.

The announcement came in a statement released by the President's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, and cited Public Service Rule (PSR) 120243 as the basis for the appointment.

The statement also thanked Muhammad Nami for his service to the nation and expressed gratitude for his work in the FIRS.
