President Bola Tinubu, Chairman of the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States, has departed Abuja for the Republic of Benin's 63rd independence anniversary celebrations.

President Tinubu is traveling with six state governors, including Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq of Kwara state, Nasir Idris of Kebbi state, and Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger state.

They will join Tinubu as guests of President Patrice Talon at the celebration.
