Emphasizing his administration's focus on people-centric development, Tinubu highlighted the importance of essential infrastructure in improving citizens' quality of life.

While inaugurating the engineering infrastructure project in Guzape Lot 11 District, Tinubu praised Minister Nyesom Wike for his exemplary leadership during challenging times. He acknowledged the country's financial struggles and the ongoing efforts to bring prosperity and relief to Nigerians. Tinubu commended Wike's ability to build and lead a capable team, urging the district's leaders and representatives to prioritize development over litigation.

The President stressed that his commitment to infrastructure development is driven by public service, not personal gain. He expressed satisfaction with the work of Gilmor Engineering Limited, the project's contractor, and reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing the living environment for all citizens.

Minister Wike explained that the initial N14 billion contract awarded in 2003, divided between Dantata & Sawoe Construction Company and Gilmor Engineering Limited, had faced delays and litigation but was eventually revised to N18.17 billion. He thanked President Tinubu for his unwavering support and non-interference since taking office, and hinted at the completion of the district's 'diplomatic area' within a year.
