Their visit, starting on Friday, May 10, is a significant moment in their advocacy for wounded and sick service members and veterans. The Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry, offers support for the rehabilitation of military personnel facing adversity from their service.

This tour is especially meaningful as it includes Nigerian soldiers who have been in conflict with Islamic extremists for 14 years. Upon landing in Nigeria, the couple received a warm welcome at Lightway Academy in Abuja, a school backed by their Archewell Foundation.

The school greeted them with a banner saying, "We Are Honored To Have You!" and local singers and dancers performed, adding to the festive atmosphere. Meghan Markle, 42, shared updates about their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, during the visit.

Their interaction with students at the academy was heartwarming, with the couple graciously receiving beaded necklaces as tokens of appreciation. Prince Harry, 39, also engaged with children aged two to five in a kindergarten class, asking about their favorite activities.

The royal couple's presence brought joy and a sense of unity to the community, fostering friendship and celebration. A video of their arrival was shared by The Punch via its X page.
