The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) is seeking the public's help to locate a woman seen in a video assaulting a baby.

The agency, in a post shared on its verified @LSdsva handle, strongly condemned the behavior and urged individuals to come forward with any information.

The viral video shows the woman using a rod to beat the baby for urinating on the floor, ignoring the child's cries. She then pushed the baby to the ground and stepped on the infant's stomach with both legs. The agency encouraged the public to contact them with any details about the incident, stating it was unclear if the perpetrator was the child's mother or a maid.

They also provided a toll-free line for reporting. While the video sparked outrage on social media, some users criticized the cameraman for filming the incident without intervening.

“Anyone with information about the person involved or the location, kindly send us a DM or call our Toll Free Line – 08000333333 to make a report,” it wrote.
