Several villagers in Tudun Biri, in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, are said to be dead following reports that a bomb was launched by a military jet during a Maulud celebration.

The tragedy happened on Sunday night at around nine o'clock at night, and according  report, about thirty individuals died.

The bomb went off at a village celebration honoring Maulud, locals claim.

When asked about the number of casualties, Samuel Aruwan, the overseeing commissioner of the State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, refuses to respond.
