First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has charged Nigerian youths to play a more active role in nation-building.

Senator Tinubu made this call during a recent event organized by the Nigeria Youth Development Programme (NYDP) in Abuja.

The event was themed "Securing the Future of Nigerian Youths through Leadership and Good Governance".

During her address, Senator Tinubu emphasized the importance of youth empowerment, noting that young people are the future of Nigeria and need to be given the tools and opportunities to build a better country.

She encouraged youths to get involved in politics, civil society, and other forms of public service in order to help shape the future of the country.

She also stressed the need for young people to be educated about their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
