The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the kidnapping of Hon. Kawu Ibrahim Yakasai, a former local government official and current Organizing Secretary for the APC in Kaduna State.

The official was forcibly taken from his home in a remote village late at night by a group of armed men.

The Governor's spokesperson has issued a statement, indicating that the government is working closely with security forces to ensure the safe return of Hon. Yakasai, and to apprehend the perpetrators of this crime.
