Nigerian Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has arrived in Rome, Italy, to represent President Bola Tinubu at the United Nations Food Systems Summit from Monday, July 24, to Wednesday, July 26.
In addition to attending the Food Systems Summit, Vice President Shettima is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with other dignitaries on the sidelines of the summit.
He will be accompanied by Permanent Secretaries of the Ministries of Agriculture and Environment, as well as other senior government officials.
During the summit, he is scheduled to chair high-level sessions on "Innovative Financing for Food System Transformation: the Case of Nigeria" and "Scaling up Multi Stakeholders Collaboration and Investment in the Implementation of Food Systems Transformation Pathways in Nigeria."
