Southampton manager, Russell Martin, has showered praise on Nigeria international, Paul Onuachu, following his impressive return to the team.

Onuachu, who spent last season on loan at Trabzonspor, has regained his spot in the Saints' lineup, and Martin is thrilled with the striker's transformation.

"Onuachu is a different beast now. He's come back with a renewed sense of purpose and hunger," Martin said. "His work rate and dedication are impressive, and he's already making a significant impact on the team."

Onuachu made his first appearance for Southampton in over a year against Getafe on Saturday, marking a successful return to the fold.
