Spain breaks jinx as they progress to their first ever World Cup semifinal after defeating Netherlands 2-1 

The Red One are overwhelmed with joy after defeating Netherlands female 2-1 in the ongoing World Cup quarter final series.

The semi final stage as always remain an impossible stage to attain for the Spanish side but turns out to favour them this time following a 2-1 victory.

It was a goalless draw in the first 45 mins of the game before the Barcelona forward Caldentey M. scored a penalty in the 81st minute to give the Spanish side a lead, but the Dutch side won’t allow the victory to come so easy as Van Der Gragt replied the goal in the 91st minute of the game to end it 1-1.

Another Barcelona forward Salma Paralluelo who is 19 years old doubles the lead 2-1 in the second half of the extra time, to see the Red One through to the semi final series of the tournament.

Spain will be facing Sweden in the semi finals stage as their long time anticipated trophy becomes visible only if the can stop the Swedish  side to proceed to the final stage.
