In a swift operation on Monday, August 28th, the Lagos State Police Command's Rapid Response Squad apprehended a 21-year-old suspected vandal named Ibrahim Ashafa for dismantling metal drain ducts on the iconic Third Mainland Bridge.

The suspect was apprehended at approximately 4:30 AM by patrolling operatives who recovered various tools, including four metal drain ducts, spanners, a plier, a rope, a screwdriver, and a wheel spanner, from him.
