In a major blow to the Labour Party and their candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, the Presidential Election Petition Court dismissed their allegations of election rigging in favor of President Bola Tinubu.

The court ruled that Obi and the LP failed to provide sufficient evidence to support their claims of irregularities in 18, 088 polling units across the country, and did not specify the locations of the alleged infractions.
