Just 12 hours after the installation of a new truck barrier on the Dorman-Long flyover in Lagos, a driver has already damaged it, according to officials from the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
The new barrier was installed on Saturday night to improve safety on the flyover, which has been the site of several accidents involving large vehicles
However, despite the efforts of the government to make the roads safer, some drivers continue to endanger themselves and others by driving recklessly.
The driver who damaged the barrier has been arrested by LASTMA and is facing charges.
