In a coroner's court on Wednesday, the father of late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, testified that his son had been living with singer Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, since December 2019. Joseph Aloba, the father, gave his testimony during a coroner's inquest into the death of his son.

Joseph claimed that Mohbad had a good relationship with Naira Marley and that he did not want to move out of the singer's house despite several attempts by his family to persuade him to do so.Joseph revealed that he saw his son three days before his death and only saw his casket in pictures afterwards.

Mohbad had assured him that he could handle his issues with Marley, but Joseph had urged his son to return home to no avail.

He also mentioned that Mohbad's wife allegedly drugged him while he was living with Marley. Joseph further revealed that his son's landed property was in the custody of his mother-in-law.

He noted that his son had often expressed concern over his possessions being held by his wife and her family.
