In a viral Twitter thread, an academic researcher, identified as @SeyiGlobal, shared a shocking story of a Nigerian woman who allegedly divorced her husband at a UK airport. The woman's husband had sold everything he owned in Nigeria to join his wife and children in the UK, hoping to reconcile with her.

However, when they met at the airport, the woman requested to see their children's passports, then told her husband that their marriage was over and she wanted nothing to do with him. She took their children and left him at the airport.

He wrote: “Betrayed and Broken: A Heart-Wrenching Arrival in the UK. “Last month, a Nigerian man arrived in the UK with his children as dependents and his wife went to pick them up at the airport. “She asked to see their children’s passports, which he handed over without any suspicion.

“She then told him that their marriage was over and she wanted nothing to do with him. She took their children and abandoned him at the airport. “He just arrived in the UK for the first time to join his wife, who came last year for studies. He helped pay her fees and sold off everything he had in his name to join her.”
