In recent developments, Twitter influencer Ayo, who was arrested by actress Toyin Abraham for alleged defamation and cyberbullying, has been released from police custody.

Toyin Abraham drew attention earlier today for Ayo's arrest a few weeks ago, with online users campaigning for his release on the X platform.

Shortly after popular activist VeryDarkMan gave the actress a 24-hour ultimatum to release Ayo, reports on social media confirmed his release.

Another Twitter influencer, Abazz, announced the news on his X page, expressing gratitude to everyone who supported Ayo's release.

He wrote: "Big Ayo is free. Thank you everyone 🙏🏻❤️"
