Activist Verydarkman's legal representative has disclosed the individuals responsible for his client's arrest, shedding light on why the controversial media personality remains in custody. Notably, Verydarkman was reportedly arrested on Friday over cyberbullying allegations.

According to the lawyer, the same individuals who lodged a complaint against Verydarkman the previous year are behind his current arrest. Identified as Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, and Samklef, these individuals allegedly submitted separate petitions to various law enforcement agencies, resulting in the activist's summonses.

The legal counsel further explained that Verydarkman was required to provide a civil servant as a surety. However, different levels of civil servants have been requested to serve as sureties for him.

Expressing confidence in the police's professionalism to grant his client bail, the lawyer warned of legal action should bail be denied. He emphasized VeryDarkMan's right to peaceful protest, both offline and online, underlining their commitment to following due process.

Lastly, the attorney conveyed VeryDarkMan's gratitude for the support received and reassured of their meticulous approach in handling the case.
