(Video)Maiduguri Youths Set Fire to Davido Posters, Call for Apology over Controversial Video:

Group of young people have taken to the streets of Maiduguri, Borno State, to protest against a controversial video posted by popular Nigerian singer, Davido, on his Twitter account.

In the video, a scene from a music video for the song "Jaye Lo" by Logos Olori, a Davido signee, shows people praying and dancing in front of a mosque.

This has caused outrage among prominent Muslims, who have asked Davido to remove the video and apologize for disrespecting Islam.

After 48 hours, Davido responded to the backlash by removing the video.

However, the protests continued, with youths in Maiduguri seen burning posters of the singer and demanding a public apology from him.

The protesters reportedly carried placards with slogans like "Davido should apologize, let this end" and "It takes nothing to say 'I am sorry."
