The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reportedly arrested 76 men at a same-sex party in Gombe State, Nigeria.

The men, according to reports, were arrested by NSCDC operatives after receiving a tip-off about an "unusual" party taking place in the state.
The NSCDC confirmed the arrest, adding that further investigation is ongoing. If found guilty, the men could face up to 14 years in prison under Nigeria's Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition) Act.
The law prohibits same-sex marriage and criminalizes "public display of same-sex amorous relationship."
