The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is reportedly set to announce its decision on the fate of over 262,000 withheld results from the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Reports indicate that the 262,803 results were withheld due to irregularities in the conduct of the examination, including multiple sitting, mass cheating, leakage of question papers, and tampering with scripts.
A WAEC official stated that the council would consider all the facts of the case before deciding on the fate of the affected candidates.
