Investigators from the Gombe Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested Janty Emmanuel for allegedly abusing the Nigerian currency.

She was detained on Monday, May 20, 2024, after intelligence reports identified her spraying Naira notes at a social event.

During the arrest, the suspect was shown a video of herself dancing at G-Connect in Tumfure, Gombe State, and spraying N1000 Naira notes.

She admitted to the offense.

She will be charged to court once the investigations are completed.
