She is accused of causing chaos in Georgia, Florida, firing a handgun at several cars on Interstate 10 around the 112-mile marker. One driver was struck by glass from a shot-out window and grazed by the bullet but managed to evade further harm. Another driver was shot in the neck and is currently hospitalized.

Celestine was arrested with a 9mm handgun in her purple Dodge Challenger and charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and improper discharge of a firearm. She reportedly admitted to the crime, citing divine instruction.

Florida Highway Patrol responded to the incident, stating that Celestine had checked out of a hotel and informed staff of her intention to go on a shooting spree directed by 'God' in relation to the solar eclipse. An AR-15 was also recovered from her vehicle, and the investigation is ongoing.
