The Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has deleted all his post on the popular social media platform Instagram after been berated for poor performance in the just concluded AFCON.

Iwobi who performed poorly in the competition could not complete a dangerous pass till he was ejected from the game in the second half which led to the loss against Ivory Coast.

Nigeria who was seen as the favorite fail to crown their efforts up with the AFCON trophy even after leading the elephant of Ivory Coast in the first half.

Football analyst and ex super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi revealed that the team failed due to lack of a prolific midfielder who can give  killer passes to the striker.

Shegzeblog also gathered during an interview with some Nigerians at Victoria Garden City after the match that, the Super Eagles did their best but Ivory Coast banked on the loopholes to hit back.

Ivory Coast who escaped elimination in the group with best loser slot are crown the king of Africa after defeating the Giant of Africa Nigeria in the finals. 

The Super Eagles returned back to Nigeria with the silver medal but were honored for a wonderful performance all through the course of the tournament.
