The game was paused in the 14th minute, with fans applauding in tribute to the 14-year-old, who admired Bukayo Saka.

Anjorin's photo was displayed on the scoreboard, and banners with "R.I.P Daniel" were seen throughout Emirates Stadium as a mark of respect. TV presenter Piers Morgan was among those paying tribute to the young fan.

Anjorin's family issued a statement via the Metropolitan Police, expressing devastation over their loss and thanking the community for its support. A fundraiser for his family has raised over ÂŁ120,000 in three days, with thousands donating.

Anjorin was attacked on his way to school in Hainault, east London, and died on Tuesday morning. The suspect, Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, a Spanish-Brazilian national, was remanded in custody by a London Magistrates Court on Thursday.
