According to State Commissioner of Police, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, "Our operatives intercepted a vehicle with three occupants along Maikunkele-Tegina road in Minna, and upon searching the vehicle, we found 15 automatic pump action rifles concealed in a sack, along with 30 cartridges."

The CP revealed that the suspects escaped during interrogation, but a thorough investigation is underway to track the owner of the vehicle and arrest the fleeing culprits.

"We will leave no stone unturned in unraveling the source and purpose of these weapons," CP Danmamman assured. "The case is currently under investigation at the SCID Minna, and we are working tirelessly to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice."

This seizure is a significant blow to gunrunning activities in the region, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
