However, as news of the jet's arrival spread online, it sparked various criticisms. Music producer Samklef fueled speculation on social media, suggesting that Davido's father, not Davido himself, had purchased the jet.

Recent viral rumors suggested that Davido shared a photo of the private jet on his Instagram story, although the post has since been deleted. Subsequently, reports circulated that the singer's jet had arrived in Nigeria, leading to mixed reactions online, with some doubting its authenticity.
