The Nigerian and international professional cook Hilda Baci has reacted to Alan Fisher’s victory after dethroning her.

Hilda Baci who stated on Twitter that she is still a record holder in both spirit and history and nobody can take that from her. 

Although She congratulated her predecessor Alan Fisher for the massive accomplishments and competitive spirit.

Hilda Baci, the former Guinness World Record holder, finally pour out her mind after a lot of claims as Nigerians also backed her up and charged Chef Dammy to challenge Alan the defending champion.

On Tuesday, Shegzeblog announced that the celebrity chef has lost her Guinness World Record for the most period spent cooking while standing.

The Guinness Book of Records made the announcement on their social media sites. 

Alan Fisher from Ireland set a new record after completing a 119 hours and 57minutes cooking marathon at his restaurant in Japan.

Following the revelation, the celebrity chef updated her bio on her social media profiles.

Hilda stated on Twitter that she is still a record holder in both spirit and history.

She has, however, opted to honour her predecessor for his accomplishments and competitive spirit.

She observed how the first record holder, Chef Lata, respectfully acknowledged her as the winner and made certain changes to her bio, which is why she is following suit. 

Hilda went on to say that setting such a record is no easy task, and she understands firsthand how it feels, which is why she admires Chef Alan.

According to Hilda Baci, she said “Just as Chef Lata respectfully acknowledged the new record holder by updating her bio and later fine-tuning the wording I’ve adjusted mine too. Achieving such a record is no small feat, and I know this firsthand. I have only the greatest admiration for the hard work it took for Alan to reach such heights. Sportsmanship is about recognizing progress, whether the accolade is in my bio or not. I remain a record holder in spirit and history. Let’s celebrate achievement and the spirit of competition”.
