Nine alleged criminal elements who were terrorizing the residents of Kogi State have been arrested by the state police command.
According to CP Bethrand Onuoha, the state commissioner of police, the suspects were arrested for a variety of crimes, including culpable homicide, false alarm, and terrorism.
The arrested suspects include ThankGod Joseph, Monday Matthew, Haruna Adamu, Yakubu Mohammed, and Harisu Abdulrasheed.
The suspects were allegedly involved in a range of crimes, including stealing, kidnapping, and murder.In another development, the police recovered three Peugeot cars, a gun, and live ammunition from suspected car snatchers and kidnappers in Kogi State.
The state police command has expressed its commitment to continue the fight against crime and criminal elements in the state, while asking for more public cooperation.
The police also thanked the people of Kogi State for their support and cooperation in the fight against crime, and urged them to continue to provide information that would help them apprehend criminal elements.
