The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, had a close brush with death on Friday night when the private jet he was flying in crash-landed near the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State. According to reports, the aircraft, operated by Flint Aero, derailed the runway and crashed into a bush during an attempt to land at about 10 p.m.

The Minister of Power and the pilot were the only two people onboard the aircraft, and both survived without any major injuries.
