NAF Air Strikes Decimate Terrorist Camps in Zamfara State

Air strikes carried out by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Zamfara state have resulted in the deaths of numerous terrorists.

The strikes targeted the camps of key figures Abdullahi Nasanda in Zurmi Local Government Area and Mallam Tukur in Gusau Local Government Area on April 10.

NAF spokesperson Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet announced in a statement on April 11 that the air strikes followed Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. After confirming that the terrorists' activities matched known terrorist patterns, the locations were hit by multiple aircraft, leading to the elimination of several terrorists.

Similar ISR missions were conducted at the Mallam Tukur Camp, resulting in the neutralization of additional terrorists and the destruction of structures. Additionally, air strikes were carried out at Kani kawa in Maradun town, Maradun LGA of Zamfara State, targeting terrorists, their hideouts, and equipment, which were successfully attacked and destroyed.
