In an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest time spent painting, Nigerian artist Lola Mewu has been on a 72-hour painting marathon, where she is reportedly painting around the clock without stopping.

The Nigerian artist is aiming to break the current record of 66 hours and 36 minutes, held by a group of artists in China.

Her marathon started at 6pm on Friday, and she is expected to continue painting until 6pm on Monday, with no breaks allowed for sleep or meals. A large canvas in a studio in Lagos, Nigeria, will serve as her canvas.
