Olabode Agusto, a renowned economist and accountant and founder of AGUSTO & CO Limited, Nigeria's first credit rating company, has died at the age of 68.

His passing was announced by Dele Momodu, Publisher of Ovation Magazine, via his X handle on Thursday. Agusto was born on September 14, 1955, and leaves behind a legacy of economic success.
