The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has announced that it is conducting an investigation into the crash-landing of a private jet at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The NSIB has confirmed that investigators have been dispatched to the scene of the accident and that more information will be released as it becomes available. The incident occurred on Friday night, when the plane landed on the runway.

Thankfully, no injuries or fatalities were reported.On Friday, at around 7:21 p.m. local time, a plane crash occurred at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan. The plane, which had taken off from Abuja at 6:41 p.m., was on its way to Ibadan when the incident occurred.

While the aircraft sustained significant damage, no fatalities or injuries were reported. The pilot had been given clearance for an RNAV approach to Runway 22 of the airport, but the aircraft went off the runway instead.

All of the passengers and crew members were quickly and efficiently evacuated.
