The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited NNPCL  has urge Nigerians to discredit any fallacious information hovering around on the increase of petroleum products.

NNPCL revealed this to curb an unforeseen uproar that might happen following the hardship due to massive hike in price on everything in the country.

The NNPCL Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi O. Soneye, who disclosed this to Nigerians on Thursday, stick to the fact that the present price of all petroleum products in the country still remain the same and nothing has changed.

According to Soneye, he said “The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. assures the public that there is no imminent increase in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol.

“NNPC Ltd. urges Nigerians to disregard unfounded rumours and assures them that there are no plans for an upward review of the PMS price.

“Motorists nationwide are advised against engaging in panic buying, as there is presently ample availability of PMS across the country.”
