The Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced its intention to seize any vehicle that is discovered carrying both human passengers and animals.

Anthony Uga, the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun, made this statement during a press briefing held on Friday, March 22, in Ota, Ogun State.

Uga emphasized that the act of transporting both humans and animals together leads to serious road accidents. He mentioned that the FRSC had conducted a meeting with animal traders in the Kara area along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway to educate them about the risks associated with this practice.

According to Uga, investigations carried out by the FRSC revealed that many drivers were violating this rule without the knowledge of the animal owners they were transporting. He stated that anyone found engaging in this activity would face penalties.

He issued a stern warning, stating, "Any individual caught will face consequences, including the impoundment of their vehicle."
