There was a serious incident at Lead British International School in Abuja on Tuesday, April 23.

A parent slapped a student, Maryam Hassan, following a video showing Maryam bullying her fellow student, Namtira Bwala. The video, shared by @mooyeeeeeee, sparked outrage online, leading to calls for the school authorities to investigate. On the same day, some parents went to the school to address the matter.

When Maryam arrived at the premises, she was accompanied by elderly males. One of the parents, a lady, confronted Maryam, questioning her actions and asking if she was proud of what she did.

Despite Maryam's apologies, the parent slapped her, but others intervened to calm the situation.
