During a meeting with the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) leadership at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized his dedication to serving the nation.

"I appreciate the efforts of my cabinet, but I will not hesitate to relieve any member of their duties if they fail to deliver for Nigerians," Tinubu stated.

He urged state governments to prioritize the needs of local communities by ensuring accountability and effectiveness in local government administration. "Governors must urgently consider the needs of the local people, where residents work, farm, and live. We must recalibrate our approach to governance to meet current challenges," he said.

Tinubu also highlighted the critical role of education in combating poverty and called the situation of out-of-school children unacceptable. "Education is a tool against poverty. We must develop our education system to support the backbone of Nigeria's economy," he remarked.

Addressing security, Tinubu praised National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu's efforts and pledged to invest in technology to ensure the safety of citizens. "We will put our heart and soul into making Nigeria secure," he promised.

On economic development, Tinubu stressed the importance of livestock management. "Animal husbandry can significantly grow our economy. We are ready to fund initiatives to support herders and improve dairy farms," he said.

Tinubu called for national unity and support for his government, highlighting the strength in Nigeria's diversity. He directed the formation of a committee, led by Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume, to follow up on the issues discussed.

Barrister Bashir Dalhatu, Chairman of the ACF Board of Trustees, congratulated Tinubu on his first year in office and praised his commitments and achievements. Dalhatu affirmed the strong trust and confidence Northern Nigeria has in Tinubu, as reflected in the recent election results.
