Verydarkman stirred up conversation when he messaged Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, Yhemo Lee, and Daddy Freeze shortly after his release.

The skincare activist had been detained by Nigerian authorities for over a week but was released on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Despite his release, Verydarkman seems unable to control the behaviors that led to his arrest, as he has been mildly ranting. A viral video shows him delivering a message to Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo, Daddy Freeze, and Blessing CEO upon his return home from police custody.

In the video, Verydarkman criticized Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo, stating that they could not break his spirit no matter their efforts. He also addressed Daddy Freeze, Yhemo Lee, and Blessing CEO, accusing them of contributing to the decay harming young Nigerians' lives. He warned them in the video that if they did not change their ways, they would face consequences.
